Encoding went a lot faster without the additional three formats. We are just checking to make sure everything works and will go live with the members section on 2/2/12. Next week we will go live with the new previews section and a few weeks after that the mobile site. Then we will be adding a new VOD section.

While encoding I notice many of the videos from 2005-2009 and some from 2010 are a bit fuzzy. This happens over time after hundreds or thousands of downloads and they will have to all be re-coded from the raw video. We will start on this soon. With new editing software we can improve both video and sound quality. I will post in here when we have uploaded a re-encoded video.

The mobile formats will not play and the QuickTime is not encoding correctly. Support is working on it. This is frustrating. Everyday it is getting harder to update the old site. It is acting weird and quite frankly, I am tired of it. Sometimes it is better to just start over.

Wow,what a week. That server crash messed up the password files, shopping cart files, and a bunch of our videos files. The new server is up and running but I have to fix a lot errors before proceeding. It will be complete eventually but for now, it is really frustrating.
